Spinbob keeps banking simple for UK players: everything is in pounds sterling, deposits are instant and free, and there’s a good spread of methods from debit cards and Apple Pay to e-wallets, open banking and — on some accounts — crypto. This page covers every Spinbob payment method, the limits that apply, and how to fix a deposit that’s been declined.

Spinbob deposit methods

All deposits are instant and Spinbob charges no fees.

MethodMin depositMax per transaction

Remember the casino welcome bonus — 100% up to £500 plus 200 Free Spins — needs a first deposit of at least £20, so a £10 deposit won’t qualify. See promotions for all offers.

Spinbob withdrawal methods

Minimum withdrawal £20 for every method. Each request goes through an internal review of up to 24 hours first; the times below apply after that.

MethodTime after approvalMax per transaction

Each method explained

Debit cards (Visa and Mastercard)

The default choice for most UK players. Deposits are instant and confirmed through your bank’s 3-D Secure check, usually a tap in your banking app. Withdrawals take 1–3 working days after approval. Only debit cards in your own name are accepted.

Apple Pay

Fast and private on iPhone, iPad and Mac — your card number isn’t shared with the casino. Deposits from £10 to £5,000. Because Apple Pay sits on top of a debit card, withdrawals typically go back to that underlying card or another verified method; check the cashier for the options shown to you.

E-wallets: Skrill and Neteller

The best all-round choice if you want quick payouts: deposits are instant and withdrawals usually arrive within 24 hours of approval. Bear in mind that some promotions at many casinos exclude e-wallet deposits, so read the specific Spinbob bonus terms before you deposit.

Paysafecard

A prepaid voucher you buy with cash or online and redeem with a 16-digit PIN. Good for keeping a strict budget, with a maximum of £1,000 per deposit. It’s deposit-only — withdrawals go by bank transfer.

Open banking: Revolut and Rapid Transfer

Pay directly from your bank account by approving the payment in your banking app — no card details needed. Instant, with a generous £10,000 per-transaction maximum.

Bank transfer (Faster Payments)

Suited to larger amounts: deposits from £20 up to £20,000, and withdrawals of up to £10,000 per transaction, often the same day and at most 2 working days after approval. Use the exact reference shown in the cashier when you deposit, or the payment can’t be matched to your account.

Crypto (BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT)

Available only where crypto payments are enabled on your account. Deposits from £30 equivalent; withdrawals within 1 hour of approval, up to £10,000 equivalent per transaction. Eligible accounts can choose the crypto boost — 110% up to £1,100 plus 110 Free Spins on the first crypto deposit, 10x wagering — instead of the casino welcome bonus (not both). Crypto values move, so the pound value of your coins can change between deposit and withdrawal, and network fees may apply on the blockchain side.

Whatever you pick, try to deposit and withdraw with the same method. Spinbob’s closed-loop rule sends withdrawals back to your deposit method wherever possible, so a method you can also withdraw to — debit card, Skrill, Neteller, bank transfer or crypto — keeps things simplest.

Why credit cards aren’t allowed

Since April 2020, UK-licensed gambling operators have been banned from accepting credit cards. The aim is to stop people gambling with borrowed money. That’s why Spinbob accepts Visa and Mastercard debit cards only. Topping up an e-wallet with a credit card to gamble isn’t allowed either.

Fees and currency

  • Spinbob fees: none on deposits or withdrawals.
  • Currency: GBP. If your card or e-wallet is in another currency, your provider may charge a conversion fee.
  • Crypto: network (blockchain) fees may apply, and the pound value of crypto can change.

Deposit troubleshooting

Card declined

Check that it’s a debit card in your name, that you’ve entered the expiry date and CVV correctly, and that you have enough funds. Prepaid cards and some business cards may be refused. Try a different method such as Apple Pay or open banking.

Your bank blocks gambling transactions

Some banks decline gambling payments by default or after a customer request. Call your bank or check its app settings. If you set the block yourself to control your gambling, please respect it rather than looking for a way round it.

Gambling blocks in banking apps (Monzo, Starling and others)

Apps such as Monzo and Starling let you switch on a gambling block in the card settings. With Monzo, turning it off involves a cooling-off delay before it takes effect; Starling has a similar control. If a deposit fails instantly with no 3-D Secure prompt, check whether a gambling block is on. These blocks are a valuable safety tool — if you turned one on, it was probably for a good reason.

Deposit limit reached

If you’ve set a daily, weekly or monthly deposit limit at Spinbob, deposits over it will be refused. Lowering a limit is instant; raising one usually involves a cooling-off period. Also check the per-transaction maximum for your method in the table above.

3-D Secure failed

3-D Secure is the “approve this payment” step in your banking app or by text code. Failures happen when the prompt times out, the app isn’t updated, or you’re switching between apps on mobile. Keep your banking app open and ready, approve promptly and try again. If it keeps failing, use a different browser or turn off pop-up blockers.

Paysafecard PIN not accepted

Check you’ve typed all 16 digits correctly and that the voucher still has enough value. If you’re combining vouchers, make sure the total doesn’t exceed the £1,000 per-deposit maximum. A voucher that has already been redeemed elsewhere can’t be used again — keep the receipt until the deposit shows in your balance.

Deposit taken but not in your balance

Card and open-banking deposits are usually instant; bank transfers depend on using the right reference. Note the time, amount and transaction ID and contact 24/7 live chat. See our troubleshooting hub and support guide.

Verify before you need to

Upload your ID, proof of address and proof of payment method soon after registering. KYC must be complete before your first withdrawal and takes 24–72 hours. See our KYC guide.

Safe-play limits

Payments are where good habits start. In your Spinbob account you can set:

  • Deposit limits — daily, weekly or monthly.
  • Loss limits — cap how much you can lose in a period.
  • Reality checks — session reminders that show how long you’ve been playing.
  • Time-outs — from 24 hours to 6 weeks.
  • Self-exclusion — from 6 months to 5 years, or across all UK-licensed sites with GAMSTOP.

Set limits before you deposit, not after a losing session. Only gamble with money you can afford to lose — gambling is entertainment, not a way to make money. If it stops being fun, GamCare’s National Gambling Helpline is free and open 24/7 on 0808 8020 133. More in our responsible gambling guide. 18+ only.

Questions UK players ask

Does Spinbob charge deposit or withdrawal fees?

+

No. Spinbob doesn't charge fees on deposits or withdrawals. Your own bank, card issuer or e-wallet may charge for things like currency conversion, so check their terms, especially if your account isn't in pounds.

Can I use a credit card at Spinbob?

+

No. Gambling with credit cards has been banned in the UK since April 2020, so Spinbob accepts Visa and Mastercard debit cards only. Using a credit card through an e-wallet top-up is also not allowed for gambling.

Can I withdraw to Paysafecard?

+

No. Paysafecard is deposit-only at Spinbob. If you deposited by Paysafecard, you'll withdraw by bank transfer via Faster Payments to an account in your own name, after your KYC verification is complete.

Is crypto available on every Spinbob account?

+

No. Crypto deposits in BTC, ETH, LTC and USDT are only available where crypto payments are enabled on your account. If you don't see crypto in the cashier, it isn't offered to you, and the crypto boost won't be available either.
